La saison des ouragans a commenc\u00e9. De nombreux orages et temp\u00eates sont pr\u00e9vus dans toute l\u2019Am\u00e9rique centrale. Il est temps de partir et de nous mettre en s\u00e9curit\u00e9 avec l\u2019Amira dans le Rio Dulce (Guatemala). M\u00eame si \u00e0 Utila, l\u2019\u00eele la plus \u00e0 l\u2019ouest des Islas de la Bah\u00eda au Honduras, nous avons \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9pargn\u00e9s par les grosses intemp\u00e9ries jusqu\u2019\u00e0 pr\u00e9sent, une d\u00e9pression approche.     <\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/sailing-amira.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Schwarzfahrer-Voegel-lassen-sich-durch-den-Rio-Dulce-fahren-Guatemala3.jpg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1800\" height=\"1013\" src=\"https:\/\/sailing-amira.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Schwarzfahrer-Voegel-lassen-sich-durch-den-Rio-Dulce-fahren-Guatemala3.jpg\" alt=\"Les oiseaux adorent s&#x2019;installer sur les voiliers et se laisser transporter. On peut monter ici ! \u00bb, semble crier l\u2019oiseau \u00e0 ses camarades qui arrivent aussit\u00f4t. Ils sont six \u00e0 s\u2019agripper \u00e0 notre Amira pendant une grande partie du trajet.  <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nos pi\u00e8ces de rechange command\u00e9es \u00e0 Utila arrivent juste \u00e0 temps par le ferry. Peter installe imm\u00e9diatement le nouveau sondeur. L\u2019ancien avait rendu l\u2019\u00e2me aux Cayos Cochinos \u2013 bien que nous l\u2019ayons achet\u00e9 au Belize quelques mois auparavant pour remplacer le pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent. Peter d\u00e9balle aussi tout de suite le joint pour les toilettes de notre cabine. Depuis, les toilettes fonctionnent \u00e0 nouveau, du moins en th\u00e9orie. Car maintenant, c\u2019est la pompe \u00e0 eau qui fait gr\u00e8ve.      <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"Zwischentitel wp-block-paragraph\">Pas d\u2019eau sans coup de marteau<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Plus une goutte d\u2019eau ne sort des robinets non plus. Apr\u00e8s quelques recherches, nous trouvons le coupable : c\u2019est le contacteur de pression int\u00e9gr\u00e9 \u00e0 la pompe. Avec des coups de marteau, Peter le d\u00e9bloque et remet ainsi la pompe en marche. Mais d\u00e8s que nous arr\u00eatons de faire couler l\u2019eau, le contacteur se bloque \u00e0 nouveau. D\u00e9sormais, chaque fois que nous avons besoin d\u2019eau, nous devons d\u2019abord ouvrir les robinets et attraper le marteau. Cuisiner, faire la vaisselle et chaque passage aux toilettes sont d\u00e9sormais soigneusement planifi\u00e9s. Mais ce n\u2019est pas si grave, nous serons bient\u00f4t \u00e0 la marina.      <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La d\u00e9pression qui approche apporte des vents changeants. Au lieu de l\u2019aliz\u00e9 habituel venant de l\u2019est, un vent souffle de l\u2019ouest. Il souffle doucement contre nous, la navigation \u00e0 la voile n\u2019est donc pas possible. Nous avan\u00e7ons en mode hybride \u2013 au moteur et au g\u00e9nois. Nous ne devons rentrer cette voile d\u2019avant que par moments. Sans la lumi\u00e8re de la lune, nous ne pouvons pas distinguer la mer du ciel. C\u2019est comme si nous naviguions dans un grand trou noir profond. Soudain, tout s\u2019\u00e9claire. Les \u00e9clairs se succ\u00e8dent. Sur le continent hondurien, la pluie semble tomber \u00e0 verse. On n\u2019entend pas ou peu le tonnerre sur l\u2019Amira, l\u2019orage semble donc loin. Chaque minute, des \u00e9clairs illuminent le pont blanc du bateau. Alors que nous approchons de la pointe de Cabo Tres Puntas, deux gros cargos apparaissent sur notre \u00e9cran (traceur), tournant juste au coin. L\u2019un d\u2019eux se dirige droit sur nous \u00e0 16 n\u0153uds. Je l\u2019appelle \u00e0 la radio, il ne r\u00e9pond pas. Ma deuxi\u00e8me tentative \u00e9choue \u00e9galement. En revanche, l\u2019autre cargo r\u00e9pond. Un homme nous conseille, dans un anglais britannique parfait, de nous diriger d\u2019abord vers le mouillage de Tres Puntas et de ne pas aller directement \u00e0 Livingston, o\u00f9 nous devons faire les formalit\u00e9s d\u2019entr\u00e9e au Guatemala. Nous suivons son conseil. Entre-temps, l\u2019autre cargo a chang\u00e9 de cap, il n\u2019y a donc pas de probl\u00e8me. \u00c0 1 heure du matin, nous arrivons \u00e0 Tres Puntas, \u00e0 4h30 nous repartons vers Livingston \u2013 pour que le banc de sable que nous devons franchir soit encore suffisamment recouvert par la mar\u00e9e haute.                <\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1800\" height=\"1125\" src=\"https:\/\/sailing-amira.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Ueberfahrt_Utila_Livingston45.jpg\" alt=\"Des mouettes ont pris possession d&#x2019;une bou&#xE9;e devant Livingston au Guatemala. Et pourtant, c\u2019est diff\u00e9rent. La bou\u00e9e rouge et blanche qui indique le banc de sable devant Livingston n\u2019est plus seule. Le chemin est d\u00e9sormais clairement balis\u00e9 par des bou\u00e9es rouges et vertes. C\u2019est g\u00e9nial, nous sommes ravis et en m\u00eame temps \u00e9tonn\u00e9s de voir que certaines bou\u00e9es ont d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e9t\u00e9 percut\u00e9es, \u00e9cras\u00e9es et d\u00e9capit\u00e9es par des bateaux. C\u2019est ici que la voili\u00e8re Chlo\u00e9 a son atelier. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nous connaissons maintenant le chemin le long du Rio Dulce presque par c\u0153ur. Dans l\u2019idyllique Cayo Quemado, nous passons \u00e0 nouveau la nuit au quai de la voili\u00e8re fran\u00e7aise Chlo\u00e9, qui descend nos deux voiles le lendemain avec son \u00e9quipe. Elle va les r\u00e9parer et les stocker pendant que nous serons au chantier de la marina. Nous nous d\u00e9barrassons aussi de notre sac poubelle : le bateau-poubelle l\u2019emporte. Le bateau passe une fois par mois \u00e0 Cayo Quemado, ce qui est bien trop peu, explique Chlo\u00e9. Tout aussi joyeusement qu\u2019elle, Karen, la directrice de la marina RAM, nous accueille un jour plus tard. Il est grand temps que nous arrivions, car entre-temps, m\u00eame les coups de marteau ne suffisent plus pour avoir de l\u2019eau sur l\u2019Amira. Et puis, nous retrouvons tout de suite ici, dans ce fameux trou \u00e0 ouragans, de nombreux vieux amis et connaissances navigateurs.
